A lesson in good old fashion hassle. Ripoff

Interesting that I accidently found this site. I happened to see another person on here that had a complaint about this company.

Let me tell ya, nothing like a company that you pay off the loan on the car, they hold the money until the pay off amount changes because of interest, than take what was supposed to be the full amount, place it on the account, than tell you you owe 44.00 more dollars.

I got a new car and they paid the pay off on my old car. The amount, which was all of about 1300.00 was rolled up into the new car loan.

The pay off is good for 10 days. Tell me why Consumer Finance knew that they were receiving the pay off, got the pay off before the ten day pay off, but held the monies until after the ten day pay off was past??? Shucks Dana, you owe us more money. Hmmmmm...

I like how they placed on my credit report that I did not pay off the car. I contacted the FTC and the BBB and they did awhole lotta nothing by the way.

Called the company and they were to send me my whole file. That was like 6 months ago???

Had a nice collector call me and get smart with me as well. Which is fine, except I used to be a bill collector and I know what they can do, like not verifying my identity? Oh so bad.

I hung up on him and he called me right back, which is ok though illegal, cause I just hung up on him again. Not that this mattered because when I called Consumer Finance to complain about their third party collection agency they just told me once again I would get the file and they sure didn't send it to me.

This company is a part of Toyota Motor Credit Corp. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.
