Ripoff on automobile warranty, claimed bankruptcy with no notice

In Aug. we signed up for an automobile extended warranty, good until 100,000 miles or 8/15.in November our starter went out, and when we called Warranty USA, their number was disconnected. We found we were out about $1,200.00 and had no extended warranty.
