Ripoff They took 700 dollars and won't return money

My husband and I went to JAY STEVENS to purchase a vehicle. My husband filed out credit application to get approved for a vehicle we liked. They then asked if We had a down payment, we gave them 700 dollars the guy we talked with said it would show finance company we was interested. It has been almost a month and they still have not gave us a vehicle.
They give us a different story every time we call. WE are approved and then we are not. Please put them on your list so that it never happens to any one else.
