Bogus Ripoff. Charge me $1000.00 for new transmission and has yet to fix my car. 4 times I've had to bring the car and they still have my car

I bought my car into J & J Transmission to have a new transmission put in. I was orginally told it would be $450.00 for the kit plus part but was told it wouldn't be more than $800. Wrong, days later they said it would be 1300 but settle for $1000.00.

The car was suppose to be finished in 3 days 4 at the max. Brought car in on January 26. It took five days and I had to sit until 9pm on the fifth day to get my car. I was no more than 20 minutes from the shop and the car shut off. I had to find a nearby friends house and park the car until the next day.

I literally could have pushed the car back to the shop the next day it was moving so slow. Another 3 days and they gave me back the car. I worked for 4 days and the same problem. I took the car back in. Two days later they returned the car.

A day later I had to bring the car back to the shop. A day later they gave me the car back telling me that nothing was wrong. Said that the car need the wires and spark plugs change.

I had to get a tune-up and wire, cap and rotors change for the to believe me that the car was still having problems. Now my car has been in the shop for five days and still the claim that they don't know what is werong. The owner who works at another shop won't return my calls, and keeps promising the guys at the shop that he will be by to work on the car.

That has yet to happen and now I can't get my car from them. As to date they have had my car for twenty six days off and on, mostly off.
