I purchased my custom transmission from Earl & Frank after reviewing his items on e bay. I was steered away from purchasing on e bay where he could be rated. He seemed honest and competent and I wanted a custom heavy duty transmission built.

The transmission was two months late getting to me — secretary, moving, lost dog excuses but it did show up eventually. I had a professional shop install the transmission and followed the warranty criteria to the T. The transmission was faulty from the start. I finally had to park the truck and wait for a replacement transmission that they promised to ship starting back in October. I was told many times by Frank the owner, John the supervisor, and Amber the secreatary "It's in route to you Mr. Harris", "Your next on the board Mr. Harris" since it took so long the first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

That was rediculous here it is the end of April and now they won't answer the phone — so many untrue promises I'm flabbergasted at the bald face lies. This is no way to run a business - the first and only bad e-bay experience I have ever had.

The Better Bussiness Burea of Florida got them to respond in that they said they were in touch with me and shipping my replacement transmission soon. May is ending they now they never answer the phone and no transmission has shown up.

I have recieved numerous e from folks with similar experiences with the company appartently they have quite the track record of fraudlent sales consisting of poor products. Here are companies and names of individuals to use care while dealing with.
