Cars & Transport

March I purchased a 2003 Honda Accord I traded in my 1996 Ford Explorer for $1100 and added a down payment of $2800. Less than 5 hours after driving off the lot I smell something that smelled like an electrical fire but it later went away. About a week later the SRS light came on, I took it back to the 1st Class and they told me it was just a sensor they did something to it and the light went off. Less than 24 hours later the light came back on which really concerened me because the SRS light has to do with the safety restrains (i.E. Seatbelts, & airbags). A little over 30 days of having the car I noticed when I drove my car started to sound like a motorcycle and felt like the car was not shifting gears. I took the car to Aamco and was told that the transmission was leaking from the front & back seal & it would cost me about 2800 to fix the problem. I then contacted the salesman I purchased the car from and could never get him on the phone. He was always out of the office, showing someone a car, or would not be in that day. I eventually just showed up and he told me I would have to have the car towed to them from South Philadelphila. Since it was impossible for me to dirve the since the transmission had been taken apart they basically told me it was nothing that they could do since Aamco had already taken the transmission apart. So basically I was out of $3900 and was left without a car. Stay away from 1st class auto their cars a peices of junk and they are low life sneaky salesmen!!!
