Blaming ME for damages

I brought a 2011 dodge RAM, to enterprise and the guy took the keys and told me he will be right back to check the car to make sure everything is ok, and so i waited inside, and when he returned, he told me that everything looked fine. So he wrote me my receipt of what i had to pay and then i left, next thing you know, 1-2 weeks later i receive a letter from DAMAGE RECOVERY UNIT, saying that there were damages to the car.

Then i called DRU, and told them my side of the story, and they told me they will do investigation and so like a month later they send me letters saying that i am held responsible for damages because prior 3 months there were no damages and that the guy who i gave the keys to stated that he had pointed out the damages to me while i was present there when it never happened.

Before i called the DRU to file my side of the claim, i called the local enterprise that i rented car from and informed them about whats going on, one of the representatvies lied to me saying i dropped off car overnight when i have reciept of when i dropped car off in the morning. The guy never pointed any damages to me and went ahead and got the car fix then i receive letters from them saying im responsible. Such liars!!!
