Ken Garff
Ripoff, lies, and fraudulent advertisement

Cars & Transport

In January I drove by Ken Garff on Redwood Road. They were advertising $99 down and $99 a month. There sign did not mention anything about credit.
Later that evening I go email their dealership and tell them that I am interested. Of course they tell me to rush down. I go down and after they check my credit they say the $99 down was not available to me, but they could get me into a car for about $150 a month.
I ended up with a Cavalier and financed at $230 a month. They kept trying to give me a guilt trip and say cause I was so young and my credit wasn't perfect I should pay more. As only used car salemen can do, they lied and did everything but cross the line of puffery and fraud.

I took they car home that night thinking I had been financed. A few days later I was called and told that I was denied financing and I was to be bring the car in immediately and pay for the miles I had already put on it.

They probably knew I was not financed and they planned to make a few hundred dollars off of me anyways by letting me run up the miles and then having me pay for it.

Well I found my own financing and sent them the check. I will NEVER do business with Ken Garff again.
