Rip-Off company sent us a defective moto

We purchased an engine for 2,000 dollars, waited for 2 weeks to get it shipped after we had sent the money. We were told that a new oil pump is put in the engine and they were very nice to us.

We received the engine & it was nice & clean & etc. My husband could tell it had it had been torn down like they had told us.installed the engine & it was apparent something was not right. It would not stay running & was popping back like it was out of time. We called them & they told us to check the timing. My husband tore apart what he had to in order to check that, sure enough it was not in time.

So now he has all this time involved, (taking the other motor out & installing the one they sent & then tearing down what he had to in order to check the timing. Also, when he tore it apart to check the timing, it was apparent they used the same gaskets to put it back together, what a slop job. We ofcourse took pictures to document all of this. We called them & talked to this Renee person. We only wanted reimbursed for the price of new oil, gaskets & antifreeze. She said that their policy was if we were not happy to take the engine out, send it back to them & they would send us another one.

Lo & behold we sure wouldn't want another piece of junk from them, so we are out my husband's time & labor cost, much less his unhappy customer that has been waiting for his vehicle for all this time. This place is a rip-off & I am contacting the BBB & my lawyer to see what can be done. Never again will we deal withem or recommend them to anyone.
