I was referred to this dealership from a close family member who attends church with one of the salesmen. I was looking to buy my first car with my hard earned money. This was an exciting venture, and I was looking for something nice, clean, and with no mechanical problems.

I looked online to their website and I found a 2000 Infiniti i30 sedan. It seemed like the right perfect clean car. The pictures looked immaculate and the price was somewhat reasonable for what I was getting. When I arrived at the dealership I asked for Chris, the salesman my family recommended, he directed me to the i30 let me test drive it, while I asked some questions about the cars history and current check engine light.

I asked "Is there any major mechanical problems that needed to be worked on with the car." He said "No there is nothing major, all of our cars go through our mechanics. If there is any major work done I would tell you."
During the test drive I noticed the check engine light was on, I asked about why it was on. "Its just a bad fluke sensor in the car nothing major." So since he was a trusted family friend I was inclined to believe him.
We headed back to the dealer to finish the sale shortly after.

About a month went by and I began to become curious about the check engine light in my car. I was saving my money to get it looked at, and when I did i found some disturbing results. Took my car to the Infiniti dealer across the street from Rick Hendrick Chevy, for a full inspection before a cross country roadtrip to my current home in California.
The Infiniti Dealer informed me that I had up too $3,600 in repair to fix; the drive belt, my AC Compressor, my brake system had to be flushed, I needed 3 new Catalytic Converters, my valve cover gaskets, crank shaft gaskets, oil pan had serious leakage, several vacuum hoses in my engine were either not connected or broken, and most of my under carriage has serious rust.

Keep in mind the listing price of the car was $8,000, he sold it for $5,700 now the car is barley worth $3,000. Hendrick Chevy ripped me off and dumped a car that had serious problems on my lap. Do not trust there sales reps, all this dealer wants is to profit off of you and lie about serious car work. These people are not your friends and dont want your best interest. Do not buy from these people or trust there service department.

Chris the sales rep was trying to tell me how reliable this car was, and it passed all inspections from their service dept. I will never buy from a Hendrick store again, and I dont recommend ANYONE to even bother looking at a car on their lot. This put me in a serious problem trying to register this car in California since I need to have a working Catalytic converter. Go screw off Henrick Chevy Thanks for ripping me off.
