"certified" vehicle sold in defective condition. No refund!

I purchased a "certified" vehicle on a Friday.By Wednesday the check engine light came on & I took it in to learn that the 127 point inspection missed a significant part of the exhaust system. I later came to find the "certification" process primarily entails plugging the car in & seeing if any problems pop up. This left me disenchanted at best. I was in the market for a reliable car because I work in a dangerous neighborhood and do not want to break down in an unsafe area.

Having explained that to my salesman Sam, the manager Art, and the repair staff, I decided I was obviously misled about the reliability of this vehicle and the certification process. So I asked for my money back. They refused. They have stated in no uncertain terms that certification does not imply a quality product but rather their willingness to continually fix problems. Obviously, that is not what I was in the market for. I just want my money back so I can buy a reliable car.
