3J's Transmission Service, Refused to give receipt, threatened to keep my car, tore apart engine & didn't repai

My car broke down on the highway and 3J's Transmission towed it in. He called to say it needed a new engine but wouldn't say why.

Next time we spoke he said no it was the cam shaft but he hadn't torn into the motor but knew the motor would need to be replaced @ $1500.00 (his words). Told him I would have someone else come get it and look at it for me. He informed me
I owed $150.00 for tow and diagnostic test.

Went to get car and paid with cash. He refused to give a receipt and said he diodn't give receipts. Told him I wouldn't pay without receipt and he informed me my car was "blocked in" and wouldn't be able to be moved without payment & no receipt. If I didn't pay him that day he would charge more for "storage".

A real jerk - bet he doesn't file the cash payment with the IRS. Had car towed to another place and was told he really did a number on the motor - tore things apart & not all parts are there.
