American Detailing Bad Check for work, Endless lies in trying to collect. Partner told me I was in a long line they owed

This is/was a start up company. I gave them a great deal on some sign work, trying to help them out. If offered the some free equipment, which they never came to pick up.

They bounced their first check to me for $270 and it has never been collectable. Their own bank told me I should stop trying to collect, as it was never going to be good.

They also ordered lettering for another truck, which obvioulsy was cancelled by me after lettering was prepared, which cost me more time and materials.

I talked to one partner, who always blamed the other partner. He told me that they owed many peopleand though they were making a lot of money, he wasn't sure why no one was being paid by his partner. They rented a building in Volo and the landlord there told me they moved out after two months and had written him two bad checks, so he collected nothing from them, either.

I went to their home in Wonder lake and they were working out of ther driveway. They promised a payment plan, which never happened, either.

I would consider this resolved if they paid me the $270 they owe me.
