Big O Tires
Ipoff, dishonest, fraudulent billing, bad practices, unfair treatment

It was 11:30 am on Saturday and Me and my family arrived in Big O tires just wanting an oil change and spark plug change. He estimated $70 for the spark plug and 19.95 for the oil change and put a total estimate around $110.00 The guy estimated it would take an hour to be done. And U told him thats fine if its only an hour!

So me and my family got out of the truck estimating abt a 1-2hr wait. During that time we got out of the truck and went shopping across the street and also had lunch. The place we had lunch at was right across the street. During this time period an hour passed by and my truck was still parked in the same place.

During this time I've seen many cars come in and leave way before me. It was later moved with the hood opened. It remained with the hood open for abt 2 hrs. My wife was then asking me if it was done. I then went to the guy asking if my car had been worked on. He then stated I needed different spark plugs and asked if I wanted them. I told him I did. (during this time I realized nothing had been done to my car at all, not even an oil change!)

So I then told my wife that maybe they are so busy that it would take some time. The time was then 2:30. We then proceeded to wait in the waiting area since we already went around the area shopping and so forth. I was on my second football game in the waiting area! From time to time I would check on my truck and so many customers would be ahead of mine! These customers had just rolled in around 3:00pm? How could they of possibly been ahead of me at 11:30?

I then went to my truck and it was stil in the same place with the hood opened up!

At 4:00pm I saw my car finally being done! I was very pissed at this time bec. My son and wife and I had been waiting just for an oil change and spark plug change! The time the truck was finished it was already 4:45 pm! We had been ther for abt. 5 hrs!

I was very pissed and frustrated and told the sales guy!" That was the longest 1 hr job I've ever been in." he then said i told you it was going to take an hour from when the mechanic started! I was like " you told me only an hour!"

So he basically tricked me into thinking this job would only take an hour for me to wait. He also stated that he had to ORDER my spark plugs! I was assuming he had them in stock.! He did not tell me he had to ORDER them! Also when I inititally asked about my car, nothing was done to it at all after 2 hrs. Not even an oil change or tire rotation!

These guys are a rip off. I've seen many customers come in to the waiting area and leave within an hour. But for me and my family to wait for 5 hrs for an oil change and spark plug change is way too ridiculous. They never attempted to contact me in the waiting area to tell us that the plugs need to be ordered or even tell us the status of my Truck. I had to go up to them before they even told me abt it. I also Noticed all spanish customers were being served first. I am not spanish. The manager of the place was aware of my frustrations and even told the mechanic" wow this guy and his family has been here for 5hrs.! The manager did not even attempt to offer his opinion or help us as customers with the situation. He just said " Sorry, have a nice day!

This place is very bad with customer service and make will say anything to get your business. The bill was also $189.00?? How can an oil change that stated 19.95 on the window and spark plugs change be $189.00!! My wife paid for the bill because I was so pissed and frustrated at that place.!

That place is a rip off. They will hold on to your car forever and charge you for labor work that only really takes like 1 hr to do!

They are Dishonest and will not attempt to even contact you. If They do contact you its for them to ask you to spend more money!
