Midas Muffler
They ripped off an 88-year-old woman, she went in for a warranty replacement muffler - they got her for over $400.00. Power steering flush? $7.00 spark plugs? $200.00 labor to change 6 plugs?

These guys would rip off a minister, Oh wait! They tried, but that's another story. The latest tale of the Sylvania Ohio Midas Muffler,

My 88 year-old mother-in-law took her car to Midas to have her muffler replaced. It was covered by their warranty! Yeah.

Over $400.00 later my mother-in-law had a new muffler, and a $200.00 spark plug and wire change, her power steering "flushed" and her brakes inspected.

They charged her $7.00 per spark plug. There is and was no obstructions at all to get at all 6 spark plugs - none! Had I known she was going to Midas in the first place I would have stopped her, this one is really bad. Plus, I would have changed the spark plugs myself and I would have used Platinum plugs and a good set of wires and saved her over $300.00.

Taking advantage of an 88 year-old woman! Please stay away from this place and trust me, there are a lot of places just like this that will rip you off. The owners of this repair shop own others.
