Ripoff, Consumer Fraud, Scams!

I recently was in the process of purchasing a vehicle from DMM on 12/2. I will give you a quick run down of the story. I have a 95 POS Mits Galant and have been desperate to get into something else that was more reliable. I went into Don Massey. Their car salesman said What do you think about a 01 Impala? I said those are nice. He said great we can get you into it lets take a look. Walking into the garage I found that the car was being repaired and ready to hit the floor in a day. Not being an avid purchaser I went and spoke to the GM of that office.

He said Let's get the paperwork rolling When I told him I was unsure about it because I haven't even driven the car he replied That is fine if you come back tomorrow and drive it and don't like it then just turn it back in and go on your way! So taking his words in good faith I did the paper work. Before I even signed anything I made sure the Finance Director (Bee?) knew that I could bring it back.

The salesman walked to re confirm this with his GM. He in returned walked back into the finance room and confirmed this with her. She said See there you go..! Moving forth I signed the paperwork in good faith they would grant what they told me. The next evening I went in and test drove the vehicle. To my surprise it did not fit well at all.

I spoke to the manager on duty that day. He said that was fine just come back tomorrow and sign the papers to get out. Now the next day I went back to my surprise them telling me Sorry the paperwork has been sent! I questioned this. They in return told me that they never told me I could bring it back or say I didn't like it.

The General Manager twisted his words and said I told you if anything was wrong I would get you in a new car or fix it! Which is not what he said at all. I need immediate assistance and look forward to speaking with you. I know you receive a million complaints and this is probably at the bottom of your list. But I need to get this closed today. From word of mouth this company has a history of ripping consumers off. I would suggest looking into this business and their practices.

THIS COMPANY SUCKS! This shows when a car dealer has integrity or not.
