Ripoff artists, hustlers, and liars What a Blackmailer!

My wife and I went to Frank Gentile to look at a 2004 Toyota Matrix for my wife and to try to get my wife credit established. First, the salesman Chuck Rizzo said to my wife you like the yellow Matrix out in front they have, but someone else is also looking at it. First big mistake on my part, I should of told it's time to leave.

Second, she starts to fill out the application and I stood around to assist, but the salesman told me to shut up in nice words. And told her instead saying she's been at her new job for a month and a half, he changed it to 6 months. Then where was she getting the down payment from and she stated that her husband was putting the money down and he said to say it was from her own source. Then I should of stopped this liar!

Third, he said that he could definitely get her financed and he made a liar out of a previous customer. Then he said that she that the yellow Matrix was a great vehicle and pushed it on her, but she actually wanted blue, but he intimidated her, because she's very gullible. Now, without an answer for financing he says he wanting some money down and I tried to interfere and he insisted on 20-40 dollars, so my wife let him have it.

Saturday, November 30 Chuck Rizzo contacted me and said that he has a lender for her and I asked who and what was the rate, he babbled the lender's name, but says he doesn't know the rate. It was a secondary company and with him not stating the rate my first thought is 25.9%-27.9%. Also he stated that a lady from that company would be contacting her and to remind her to lie about the time on the job and source of down payment.

This all made my decision to call up on Monday and cancell this rip-off deal and to look at other dealers. I contact Russ Ball at Libertyville Toyota in Illinois and my wife and I saw him on Tuesday evening December 2. The credit application was done honestly, he said that it might take some time to get it approved and in the meantime for my wife open a savings account solely where the lender can do a direct withdrawal monthly to get a better rate, and not toworry that they have Blue Matrix coming from the factory in 10-15 days adn not to worry about a deposit until they get the financing approved at a reasonable agreement for my wife. Now, that's one hell of a salesman and a dealership.

Today is December 4, Troy from Frank Gentile Toyota phoned me saying he's the manager and trying to see what the problem was and stated to him everything I stated above and told him that Chuck Rizzo ruined the deal for the whole dealership. Troy started to snicker and said that we can't cancel, because if we do we have to pay them to 5% the cost of the vehicle! That's B.S.! Troy said we can work this out and I asked him how and he said buy the vehicle from them and all will be forgotten, what a Blackmailer!

I called another dealership in Wisconsin and spoke to the manager and he said the only way that can be enforced if if the vehicle was ordered from another dealer or one being ordered from the factory for my wife and said let Troy shoot his stupid mouth off and threaten to send a letter to me, because all it is is scare tatics and next time he calls to say I want to speak to the owner, not him and mention how they want my wife commit fraud on the credit application and to a representive from the lending institution. I'm contacting Toyota next. So if you live in Wisconsin stay away from Frank Gentile Auto Group!!! Give feedback if you want. Thank You
