Reg Midgley Kia BEWARE of these people, they WILL NOT take care of you after the sale

I have heard nothing but bad news about Reg Midgley since I purchased a vehicle from them in 2009. I bought a 2000 Dodge Durango from them and after exhaustive negotiations and proof of the real value of the vehicle they were trying to sell me, we finally made a deal. (The truck was about 4000 over market value at the time)

They gave me copies of an inspection they did of the vehicle, along with a claim that it was accident free. They assured me that it was a vehicle that was one owner and very well taken care of - even though there were NO service records with the vehicle.

I trusted them, bought the truck and drove away to get to then nearest gas station as it had NO gas in it, the DTE indicator said 4 kms! When I went to fill it up the guy asked if I wanted the oil checked, I am not sure why I said yes but I did and the guy walked up and showed me the dipstick, there was barely a drop at the end of the stick, the rest was dry. If I had not said yes, the truck's motor would have packed it in on my way home.

The list goes on and on from there (vehicle WAS in a bad accident but was out of province, was not one owner and so forth) but in a nutshell, they will not only lie to your face they offer no support after you buy it, they will not stand by their vehicles unless you want to drop more money on them.

I would never recommend a friend to this company.
