Good Year Horrible Mechanics on Fair Ave, San Antonio Texas

This is not a place to have your vehicle serviced. I was going out of town and wanted to check everything before I left. 1st I took my car because I heard the brakes squeeking. They kepted my car for several hours to be told that my brakes were fine. The next day I took my truck to have it checked out because I decided that I should not go in the car. The manager called and stated that there was rust in the radiator and it needed flushing. I called my husband and he said ok. I got the truck back after complaining about them not returning it to me at the time promised. I left on the trip that evening about 7pm and by 1am the transmission was slipping. Put transmission fluid in it and didn't make it far. I was stranded on the side of the road. I called Bruce at Ken's tire to let him know what happened - all he could say is it was not his fault that it was my fault. He never offered any help - he just kept saying it is not his fault. The tow-truck guy told me to look at the water in the radiator to see if it was milky - sure enough it was - had to have a transmission and a radiator put in because Ken's tire did not use their machinery correctly. The mechanic that replace both of these told me what happened and I even confirmed it with another mechanic just to be sure. I have again spoken to the management and they had nothing to offer but that I should have known better. I even reported it to the Goodyear home office and they said they could do nothing.
Do not use ken's tire on fair st in san antonio, tx.
