Wow, I had heard of the shady practices of brokers like these but dumb don on the other side of the phone said to "trust" him to take my Audi RS4 from mas to va... What a mistake. First all don cared about was getting my cc#. It was funny because i get this call out of the blue where he calls (first time i talked with him) and was asking for my cc number with out even a formal quote emailed to me. Hey don, heres a tip, uh maybe, just maybe, send a quote to verify who you are.
Next was the lame dispatch who the very first call tried to up-sell me for over $100 on their original quote. So what am i paying you for. This woman claimed i did not understand the system but i think that they don't because they had no idea what a reasonable going rate was. So finally after a 3rd call to upsell me i finally agree to another price that's over the promised rate and a day late for pick up.
So the guy gets there to pick it up in an open 3-car double decker trailer attached to a dually pickup.
He arrives to a location (of course can do the door to door thing) and the wheel comes off the trailer No joke, and the guy is asking me for tips on getting it repaired. But wait it gets better.
When he pulled the car off the trailer he ripped the front bumper off... But wait it gets better
The car on top was leaking tranny fluid all over the top of the car and made the paint bubble... But wait it gets better...
He gives me his insurance and i pay the guy. Big mistake, and i get on my way while he's on the side of the road and eventually drives away with 3 wheels on the trailer and two cars on it... But wait it gets better.
I call the insurance company when i get home and they've been canceled for over 9 months now... But wait, it gets better.
So i'm dealing with the drivers boss and he says that the driver (fast eddie of easy transports of South Carolina) gave me the wrong insurance card.
So i call global auto transport and literally leave 4 VM's with no one calling me back i had to call them... And they are telling me they can't do anything. Its up to the driver.
Hey global what is your job then? Is it to find and guarentee a price. Nope you can;t do that. Is it to find a reputable, insured, driver, no, can't handle that, is it to get my vehicle delivered on time and in budget. Nope. All global Auto Express transport can do is rip you off... Stay away, stay veeery far away
