Aising of sticker price 20,000 to get financing approved

Cars & Transport

After being denied financing 2 times, the dealership raised the sticker price of the vehicle 20,000 dollars to lower the percentage of the vehicle's cost to be financed in order to get approval. Where does that leave the buyer. At the end of the lease, he paid for 93% of the car without purchasing it, and then owes an additional $30,000 to purchase because of the inflated sticker by $20,000. When confronted, the dealership claimed confidentiality issued to hide their practice from audi america and audi financing. Had to contact the attorney general's office for help. Lawyer assessed situation and pointed us to attorney general to start.
