Unhappy with Pontiac G6 2006 - Brakes and Battery

I own a 2006 Pontiac G6 that was purchased from MID North Motors in Sudbury, Ontario Canada. This car was a dealer demonstrator that had 7000 kilometers when purchased. I've had the car for 2 1/2 years and have 31,000 kilometers on it now. I serviced this unit at Mid North for all recommended work but still had to change all my brakes including rotors for $1000 and today changed my battery because it failed. No wonder GM had problems. I am disappointed with the quality and now will consider the Japanese for my next purchase.;
