Mark & Michele Stanley Scooter Repair Rip-Off

Scooter repair rip off from Tropical Scooters, LLC. The owners are Mark & Michele Stanley. I don't have a lot of money. So, I ride a scooter back and forth to work.

I was quoted a repair cost. It was 40.00 the estimate they quoted. I paid, because I needed my scooter to go back and forth to work. I don't make a lot of money I gave them my last $188.00 to do the repair. The next day I rode my scooter to work and broke down 7 miles from my house. I had to push my scooter all the way home.

I called Mark Stanley. Said the drive belt broke, which is why I had it repaired. Also the clutch assembly. He said I didn't do anything wrong. I opened up my scooter and the belt was chewed up, drive plate was put back wrong, etc..

Bolts missing, a rather large hunk of melted plastic (which was not in there before) had no reason to be in my cvt case. I assume Mark Stanley left it there.

With Mark Stanley putting the drive plate on backwards and hunks of plastic thrown in there this caused the belt to be chewed up. I asked for that portion of the money to be refunded. The same day I took everything down in a bag and explained. He didn't want to hear.

He said too bad not his fault. I know it was his fault, he was the one repairing my scooter. He would not refund any of the money, I wasn't asking for it all back only a partial refund.

They ripped me off my last 200.00 dollars and my scooter is still broken a month later. I havent the funds to repair it. I've been riding my bike. People like Mark & MIchele Stanley should be held accountable for their dishonest ways.

I pray someone reads this and goes to another scooter repair shop. I don't want anyone else ripped off by these people pretending to be mechanics.
