Is charging me for their mistake/fraud

Cars & Transport

I needed a replacement part for a Scion HID system. The system on the car was a Xetronic, so I googled "Xetronic HID". The first listing was for carhidkits.com so I called them. I gave them both the name brand and stamping # off the old part and explained I needed this exact part, or whatever kit I needed to buy to get this part. They said it would not be a problem and would send it out promptly. When I recieved the kit, it was a different brand that I could not use at all. I called and called and left messages, but no one would call me back. Finally, I was able to speak to what they call a customer service department who told me they did not even carry any Xetronic parts. The fact that they pay google to show up for the searches for a product they don't even carry should tell you something about how honest they are.in any case, the "customer service" department told me if I sent the kit back they would refund the price less freight and a restocking fee, I explained that this was NOT what I had ordered and should not be charged for anything. They basically told me to stick it so I am in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company.
