Damaged my side view mirror. Completely broken off the car

I went to the car wash and the manager drove my car through. When it came out the person who was drying the car had the side view mirror in his hand. At the time they admitted it was their fault and that they would pay. I had it fixed and sent them the bill. First they said the check was in the mail. Then they said the owner was away and he would mail the check. Did not happen. When I went by two times to pick up the check, the proper person was not there to help me. It is not a tremendous amount, but it was their fault. I am considering small claims court just because of the way I am being treated. I would beware of the company.
