Brakes 4 Less, Brakes-4-Less.com, Brakeway.com Does Not Honor Warranty

Had a brake job completed by Brakeway in Reno, NV. During the warranty period, the brakes failed, and, as they company had since left Nevada, had no place to go except the dealership. The dealership informed me that the brakes were faulty and needed to be replaced AND Brakeway's job had caused additional damage to the car.

After informing Brakeway, I had the dealership complete the repair. It cost about $650 (more than the original job). Brakeway offered to pay me approximately $250, as I should have "shopped around for a better price" according to them.

They also stated that they felt their offer was generous, since they were no longer doing business in Nevada and had no obligation to honor their warranty.

Watch out for these guys. They are doing business as "Brakeway" and "Brakes 4 Less" in KY, NC, SC, FL, and IN.in my experience, they do quite faulty work, use bad parts, and do not honor their warranty.
