Big O Tires
Unprofessional, incompetent, doesn't care about customers

I have had more than one incident at Big O Tires before, usually small and I figure if you address the small mistakes they will correct them and not do them again, truly standing behind their apologies. I would take in my truck to this place and they would get my steering wheel cover and gear shift full of oil and grease. The first time I showed a manager and he had one of his mechanics clean it. The next time I went in the same thing, so I started taking it off before I went there any more. Some time had passed and My truck was having trouble turning over to start, so I took it to them to see if it was the battery, starter, or something else. They said it was the battery. So I bought a new one.

The next morning the truck almost didn't start, it obviously wasn't the battery now. I wasn't messing around. I took my truck to the Toyota dealership because they have better diagnostic equipment, so if was a chip, wiring something like that, they would find out. The dealership found out it was the starter, and of course they wanted a small fortune to fix it, of course I took it to someone else who did the work much cheaper, but first thing I went back to the Big O Tire shop and asked for my battery they said it's gone So I had bought a battery that I didn't need!!! I told them what happened and got an empty "sorry". Yeah right. So I haven't gone back.

Well before the battery incident I had bought new tires there. Today I went to Discount tires to get a nail and to rotate my tires, even though Big O would have repaired the tire under warranty for free, I would rather go to another place and pay $12 bucks.

Once the tire was repaired, the mechanic from Discount tires showed me a big Lego block that he found in the tire. I was pissed! I took the Lego down the street and told them what happened, the manager said "it was impossible". I told him they were the last to handle the tires and they have a big box of Lego's on a kids table in the waiting area and the other places I take my truck to don't have Lego's, besides after the way they have handled things in the past I believe it. I told that mannager this is why I don't come here any more. The guy at Discount tires said he "never saw anything like that". Why would he lie!
