Ripoff - i am having trouble making the car payment this month and they harrass me continually, i want to make an arrangement but they refuse to listen, HELP!

I recently was deemed medically not able to work and am waiting on a short term disability payment I have spoken to several people at the company and they refuse to want to offer me a way out. I offered to add more money to my next several payments to ake up for the missed payment and they will not work with me. They call my place of employment of which im no at right now and leave threatening messages on my voice mail.

Im not trying to get out of making the payments i just need some compassion at this point what can I do?
