Takes Advantage of U.S. Navy Sailor Recently Returned Home From Middle East

Cars & Transport

I recently returned home from an eight month mobilization in the Middle East and wanted a reliable vehicle to immediately begin traveling north for living locations near colleges. My only dream that got me through my mobilization was knowing that I would be able to start my educational goals as soon as I returned home.
After searching for hours upon hours each day, I found an affordable vehicle that would begin my new life. As the dealer continued to tack on more and more fees, I began to change my mind about the vehicle. The dealer acted very calm and said he knew nothing was wrong with the vehicle and it would sell immediately if I did not act fast. That should have been my warning but I was so excited to start school.
I purchased a vehicle, listed on-line at $9500, for $11187. I was overwhelmed with happiness for one day. The vehicle started to show problems one day after purchase. This was a big problem because I had many post deployment appointments to attend and some that still need further attention. I tried to remain patient with the dealership after they pawned me off from dealer to dealer but I immediately lost my patience when they refused to acknowledge that they sold me an unsafe vehicle. The dealership will not refund my purchase or pay for the repair of the vehicle to ensure the safety of the customer.
I have already recieved another vehicle, for the price of the repairs, to continue returning to San Diego for appointments and updates to the purchased vehicle, since it is too unsafe to even drive home. All I want from the dealership is the return of my very hard earned money and to put this behind me so I can continue my goals in life.
