Check references carefully

I was searching for a local (to Houston) company to obtain quotes for automotive repairs. I had come across Lucas Automotive repair and looked at the Google recommendations. However, after reviewing these recommendations I have identified a STONG pattern of spamming that would result in the casual observer thinking that the company has over 100 glowing reports and only a few negative ones. This spamming comes in the form of various "posters" making multiple posts — in some instances repeating their prior posts, in other instances repeating the posts previously posted by other "posters."
One poster, BarbieXXXX, has four or five posts — all glowing.interestingly, if you look at her profile, she even has the picture that is from Lucas' website! Other "posters" are named "95" "100" "105" — none of which have any actual profile.
I don't have any personal experience with this company, but based on the large amount of spam which seems to be coordinated, I have decided that I will not be using this company.
