Ripoff! Sold me a car 1 year ago, I still don't have the title!

These jerks sold us a car a year ago in Mableton, and never gave us the title for it. Come to find out it is still in the previous owners name and we blew $3500.

Then, to top this crap off, they ran off to Covington hwy in Decatur because we were threatning to take them to court over this. I guess they figured we would not find them, but we sure did.

Now, we are at a loss of ideas as to how to get either our money back or the title to the darn car. The police have told us the only option is to hire a lawyer - WE DON'T HAVE THAT MONEY, I'M PREGNANT WITH OUR SECOND CHILD. Anyone please help us!
