Took a Toyota Camry in for inspection - it was *thoroughly*checked out in FL prior to bringing it to Hillmuth in Columbia. Yet, Hillmuth failed its inspectionand said it needed $1100 worth of work. First was a front motor mount - amazinglythey raped us for $288 for the part, which can be found for a 4-pc set for $113. Even though online recommendations state if you replace one you should replacea set, undoubtedly they pocketed other parts. It ran *very* quietly. Yet, Hillmuthsaid it had a hole in the muffler and needed replacing. Another rape at $310 just for the muffler itself. Theseguys are freaking thiefs!!! They screw you because they say you can't passinspection, then use you to line their pockets. I used to take my van here, butthey've stolen the last dollar from me.
