One of my biggest mistakes was purchasing a used car from ACars. According to records, this LLC is operated by Palm A Shaikh & Mohammad Y Khan. But the people I dealt with was Taimoor Shaikh & Adnan. It is quite possible these are either agents or the same people as listed previously. Anyways, watch out for these names.

Now, about the car. At the time of purchase, it had several cosmetic defects (poor paint and interior).in addition to these, there was a major engine oil leak that was discovered only after purchase. This was never repaired (according to warranty agreement in bill of sale).instead, putty was applied to temporarily fix the leak. Even this shoddy workmanship was possible only after a couple of trips to the repair shop.

A few months after purchase, the catalytic converter died. I was informed by my trusted mechanic that the reason for failure was a cheap, after-market catalytic converter instead of company manufactured one. So, all in all, a total rip-off.
