Donell Dorval Bought a car from me on payments that were never made. Ran an office out of my rental home and left my tenant with LOTS of bills

Don Dorval moved into my rental home on S. Boston without being party to the lease. He got my tenant to install services for him that she could not afford. He had told her he would pay for them but he did not do so. Neither did he pay the rent he owed (as part of my contract with her) when it became apparent to me he was also living there. It seems that he used the location as his personal office while selling Kirby Vacume Cleaners.
I had a car stored there that he said he wanted to buy. He had the secretary at the Kirby Distributorship in Westminster write and fax me a simple contract for the sale. He never completed the payments. I suspect this is the same car that he was supposed to buy for the other person who is complaining about him. It is a silver 1999 Mercury Sable 4-Door Sedan VIN 1MEFM53S4XA603612. While the police are aware of this they say it is a "civil matter".
Donell moved out when I sold the townhouse and took the title papers for the car with him, along with other items that he was supposed to give to the moving company who emptied the home for me.
He claimed the error was on the part of the moving company and that he had the items of personal property in a storage locker at Evans and Havana. He was always "in a meeting" or "out of town" when I was in Denver to pick up the items.
He claimed the reason he couldn't pay me for the car (according to the schedule of payments) is because the Kirby Distributorship took back vacumes he had paid for and so he had no vacumes to sell and was not able to work.
Apparently he took a large sum of money from someone for vacumes that were never his to sell, much in the same way he took money to purchase my car from someone when he didn't own the car.
He is now claiming he doesn't owe me any money for the car since he did a lot of work around the rental home while he was illegally living there (and scamming people) and should be compensated for it.
I wonder how many people he sold my car to or where it is now for that matter?
