Phishing outfit (i'm assuming)

I received a call from this company yesterday and today. The first time I thought the person asked if I would like to apply for a car loan. I told him I already had a car and I was not interested. Then it sounded like he was trying to sell me an auto warranty, I reiterated I wasn't interested and hung up.

So this morning, I get another call, it sounded like the same guy. The accent sounds like Asian Indian or Pakistani. This time he said his name was George and that I've been approved for a car loan. I said I hadn't applied for a car loan and that I wasn't interested and to please take my name off the list. There was some mumbling and then I hung up.

It sounds like from other reports on this site, they try to get your Social Security Number but I didn't let them get that far either time they called.

I then called an identity protection company I'm a member with and reported them. I'm now waiting a call from their fraud team.
