Wesley Chapel Honda Dealership damages vehicle without any liability

10/17 — I took my Acura Integra Sedan for servicing to the local Honda dealership close to my home as I always do. I came in for a routine oil changing service. The service took more time than what I expected — over an hour. After the service was complete I drive my car home, and park in the garage. As I walked around the car, I noticed the front bumper was cracked! Mind you, this was not there WHAT SO EVER, before I arrived to the dealership. This is a 1,200 dollar Backyard Special Bumper, and did not take it lightly what-so-ever.

I drove up to the dealership immediately as I saw the crack in the bumper. I asked to speak to the Service Manager. As soon as I spoke to the service manager and spoke to him what had happened and his technician had cracked my bumper, he jumped to claim that the dealership is not liable for any damages while it is in their possession. I even asked him so "if a technician takes a vehicle out on the road for a test run, and crashes it, the dealership isn't responsible?" He said, "no, that's why you have insurance" I asked him to re-evaluate the entire situation and speak to the technician that drove/serviced my car.

10/19 — The next day, I call and speak with him, and he openly admitted that the bumper "moved as the car went on the rack" So exactly that's why the bumper got cracked! So now he's giving me the run around saying that they're not liable for anything that happened. The situation isn't about the money, it's about principle. You break something, you fix it.

10/19 — I spoke to Corporate Honda/Acura telling them the situation that I'm in and reported the manager that he was of no help what so ever and didn't seem to care about my car or having any customer relations what so ever. He didn't even seem to even work it out, the only words that would come out of his mouth were "we're not liable for any damages that we do"

Basically, do not service your car at honda of wesley chapel if you want it damaged.
