699 Rent A Car
ILLEGALLY rented a car to me without registration

Horrible! Illegal activity! I am taking them to court!

This company illegally rented me a vehicle with expired registration. I got pulled-over and was written a ticket because of this.

I was pulled over by an officer who ran the plate of the 699 rental car that I was driving; the officer gave me a ticket and now I have to appear in court because a) expired registration and b) no proof of insurance... I left the car rental papers at home that day. He said I was lucky because he believed that I didn't know anything about the 2010 registration sticker on the plate. He could have arrested me and/or impounded the car.

I want my money back for this rental and reimbursement for any fees related to the first portion of my ticket, proof of registration. Additionally, I want to be reimbursed for any fees related to the 2nd part of the ticket, not having the insurance paperwork with me, because I would not have been pulled over in the first place if my registration was legit. I want compensation for my time at the courthouse as well.

Not counting the court issues, the total I want back is $299.42
