Improper Reassembly of Motorcycle - Danger!

I had a job to repair and touch up paint the fairing and saddlebag on my motorcycle. Super Auto Body and Paint did an excellent job of repairing the fairing and matching/blending the paint. Part of the job apparently required them to remove the fairing. The motorcycle was returned two and one-half days after the promised date. The audio components did not work, the headlights were badly misaligned and the fairing was not securely attached. As I had lost confidence in their ability to do actual motorcycle work, I had the motorcycle dealer repair the negligence, rather than drop my motorcycle off with Super Auto Body and Paint and hope they got the job right. I then sent them my repair bill from the dealer and asked them to reimburse me for the repair costs. They didn't, and further wanted to tell me about how having any repair work done by anyone else violated their warranty - as if the motorcycle dealer was some fly-by-night service.
