Dan Bergan, Mike Baxter, Ron Steebles SpeedUnlimited Shop SUCKS! Badly. Reputation SUCKS WORSE

Occasionally I get a customer who has been unlucky to have Speed Unlimited repair their Volkswagen. They do not call them "air heads" lightly.
I own a shop which specializes in German Repair. My reputation is of such I have high end Mercedes, BMW's and other expensive vehicles.
You will never see a high end import car at their shop. My customers demand and get quality work. Speed Unlimited operates well below the radar. They claim to be experts in a dying field of air cooled VW. But their work is not quality.
Frequently because of our knowledge of Volkswagens, I get a phone call. Or a tow truck operator who needs advice on some mess that Speed Unlimited has created. Or a customer who drives in with a car that has been worked on by Speed Unlimited. We document these vehicles.
At car shows which Speed Unlimited stop attending, I've had their customers ask me about their reputation. All I can state is that I have seen their work. I have corrected their work. I have had conversations with Steebles, (very weird person), and Dan Began.
Drug allegations do not surprise me. But the general attitude towards customers along with sloppy work is a concern. I've been by the Fresno shop—which is closed. I'd see 2 cars. While other shops would have cars pouring out into the street. That alone, speaks of their work.
Their Fresno shop closed for a reason. The Clovis shop will end up like most of Bergans ventures. Customers left out in the lurch. Dan does have an issue where he disappears for days on end. Ron would cover for him.
Baxter's issues with kiddy porn is well known with the local law enforcement. Mike is on Megans List for all to see.
For me, I run a good shop. I back my work up. I do not open and close shops right and left. I do not have to move from location to location.
Speed Unlimited is just one of those places that stands as a joke. Albeit an expensive joke on many customers. Dan might know a few things about transmissions but they say Jeffery Dalhmer was a good TV repairman.

I would urge the reader to call German Auto, Siegfried Auto, KW Auto, Seibring and others in the yellow pages. Call the dealerships. Call those who have remained in the same location for a long time. Not moved around like some homeless person.

Call. Make your own decision, then call me when your car is messed up, I always can use the work.
