Approved me for a lease then took it back a month late

On september 19th My wife and I were in burlington doing some shopping and were just browsing at Deery Brothers because we received a brocheure in the mail about some specials going on. Well we test drove a few cars and started thinking about trading in our 2007 mazda 3. We first test drove a 2010 nissan cube, but we could not work out any financing on it to meet our budget.

The saleman then came back and asked about us leasing a new mazda. I have never done a lease before, so I was a little hessitant. But we test drove a new 2010 mazda 3 while they ran some numbers and all. When we got back they had an offer that was in our price range, and we loved the car, so we said lets do it.

We get everything done, all was approved as far as I knew, signed all the papers, including a lease agreement through Chase. I also paid the first payment. We go home all was well.

On october 13th, almost a full month later, I get a call from the financial officer at deery brothers. He says I have some bad news. Your lease has been declined by chase. But they will give you a loan at 460 a month for 60 months. There is no way I can afford that. Now they are saying the lease agreement I signed was not the final thing. It still had to go through final approval after everything was submitted. They have already paid off my other car, I have licensed and insured the new car and spent money out of pocket on it.

Now I am awaiting the outcome of all of this, they are still trying to work out financing on the new one by adding my wife to it. Not for sure if that will even help. I will update this with the outcome when I find out. But as of right now I feel im gonna get screwed majorly.
