SPD Warranty Program
Scam

Cars & Transport

I received a letter from SPD Warranty in St. Louis, MO, saying that my auto "factory coverage is expired or is about to expire". I have not purchased a new car EVER and only own used vehicles that I have purchased privately. I have not given our my home address to them. When I called the company to "opt-out", they requested even more information such as my social security number, phone number, etc. What I'd like to know is HOW did they get my name and address in the first place, since I am not listed in the phone book and keep my address very private.
