I turned in my Nissan Maxima lease after 3 years on June 20th. I spent the three months prior trying to work with this dealership and Mr. Bud Gregorcic in order to resolve the issue.

I have documentation from the General Manager who leased the vehicle to me 3 years ago that confirms that I paid for upgraded tires/wheels, and the dealership was to keep the Factory Set of wheels/tires in their warehouse to be switched out at the end of my lease (since I would own the upgraded set at the end of the lease).

Apparently, the dealership had some issues keeping track/control of the tires/wheels, because they are "nowhere to be found".

I contacted Nissan corporate/NMAC and they did agree that this was the responsibility of the dealership, but that I needed to resolve it with the dealership directly.

Mr. Bud Gregorcic was not helpful - he basically played a game of cat and mouse with me for 3 months - always putting the burden on me to call him to follow up (which I did) and never even did more than tell me that the tires were lost and it was my problem.

During one of our last conversations, Mr. Gregorcic actually got into a shouting match with me because I told him that it was not fair that I should lose money on the tires because of poor inventory management on the part of Lokey... He then decided to tell me that if I removed the tires (that I OWN) that Nissan will charge me for replacements and it will be my problem, not his.

I did have to turn in the vehicle with MY tires on it - because I had no other options. I could have sold them and made some of my money back, had Lokey done what they promised and kept my original tires.

Mr. Gregorcic's contention it that #1 - he has never heard of such a thing (I have confirmation that about 5 other sets of tires were being held around the same time as mine) and that #2 - it never should have been done.

I am the consumer - Lokey Automotive should stand by the promise that THEIR General Manager made and should have put their customer first. This vehicle was my second lease through Lokey and I have referred them other customers who bought from them. I will never do that again, now that I know that their priority is to save themselves any cost, even if it is at the cost of the customer or goes against a commitment made to that customer.

I turned my Nissan Maxima in on June 20th to another Nissan dealer, since Nissan said I could turn it into any dealer. I wanted to make sure that #1 - Lokey could not turn around and sell the car for a profit and #2 - I did not have to subject myself to any more disrespect and aggravation from their "Customer Relations Manager", Mr. Bud Gregorcic who has an unbelievable combination of rudeness and stupidity.
