Change Deceptive Practices

The last 2 times that I went to NTB in Crystal Lake, IL. 60014, my car was kept for several hours. If I said that I just wanted tires or brakes, they still went over the car completely to frighten me into more purchases. My car
is newer and still under warrenty. They told me that my transmission fluid was
"burnt". Due to my busy schedule, I agreed to $109.00 for the change of fluid. I got the car home and my owners manual stated the fluid should be changed at 84 months or 105,000 miles. My car is 47 months with 36,000 miles. They also stated that I needed my cabin air filter changed. I did not know that my wife had already changed it last year. This is excessive for this item. They also tried to frighten me into changing the brake fluid and power steering fluid due to "copper build up". They never mentioned the $53.00 tire installation charge. When I went to Discount Tire today to finish my tire purchases, this was mentioned immediately. Service manager "Dale" acted as though it was not too smart to assume that there would not be an installation charge. Buyer beware!
