Warning... Do not buy a 2009 Honda Accord until you read this

I loved the car and was very excited because this was my first new car purchase.

After aprox. 200 miles the brakes started squeaking. I contacted Dealership. They said to drive the car some more, that it could possibly be some rust on the Rotors. I did but 2000 miles later, the brakes now squeal every time I use them. I called Dealership to set up a service appointment. They said to not bother bringing the car in because they know the 09 Honda accords have brake noise. They advised me to call American Honda. I called American Honda, they said as long as brakes are functioning that nothing else can be done and to contact my Dealership in the future.

6/17/09 I walked into dealership and insisted they look at my car. They did, but once again they said there is nothing they can do about the brake noise. I called anther Honda service department to see if they could fix itsame thing, however; they wanted to charge me to look at the car so I didn't take it in.

Two weeks ago 6/23/09 I took my car back in to the original dealership to see if I could trade it in on something else but they would only give me $19,000. For my car which would leave me in the hole quite a bit since I just paid 27k for the car.

I contacted the BBB Auto. Filed a complaint against American Honda. Asking for them to fix the brakes, give me different car or refund my money. American Honda said they would do none of this.

I then wrote a letter to Tom Spicer the Director of operation for Immke Honda (enclosed) I never received a response from him. I called the Immke's service manager, all he said was sorry. They won't look at my car again because they said there's nothing they can do to make the brake squeal go away.

I never expected to have this problem buying a brand new Honda. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. I feel like I'm getting the run-a-round from everyone I talk to. Here I am in a brand new 2009 accord and it sounds like the 1977 ford I owned in High school. Never will I buy another Honda.
