Fix It Company
Misleading advertising and overcharge of mailing costs

This company advertises on TV, a Fix It product at $19.95 plus mailing. They then throw in a "free vacuum cleaner" and then charge extra mailing costs on this item despite the fact that everything comes in one box. The total charge on my card was $47.54.
When challenged, the customer service lady immediately agreed to credit the second mailing charge which indicates that they are fully aware of their fraudulent practice.
Not a good company with whom to deal. I have yet to try the product so hope I have no bad experience when I do.
