Just Brakes
Ripoff: bait 99.88 "in most cases" RIGHT! I spent over $1100.00 and still no brakes

I'm a sales rep and my car is my livelyhood. Just Brakes is a block from my office so I thought I could be in and out fast. They want you to wait in their shop so they can "pitch" you when the $99.88 "in most cases" starts to swell. I walked back to my office, they had me come back (they couldn't tell me on the phone afterall) that it would be $200.00 I

Went back to my office, they called back and wanted me to come back I saw this movie, I said "just tell me over the phone" now it was going to be $400.00. They needed my drivers licence # to use as proof that I approved the $400. Then it was $600.00 and everything was apart, can't stop now. Then $800. Then $1090.00. I said STOP, you are buying lunch... It's been 4 hours. The good news, It was only $1045.00. The bad news, I've taken it back twice in 10 days, spent another $90.00 and the brakes still aren't right. Their inability to do this work is frightning when you are on the freeway at 70mph. How can they stay in business???
