I took my driveshaft to Roving Auto to have the u-joint replaced. Simple job - they quoted a price of $45 and said it would take a half hour at the most. I stood there and watched as the technician pounded on the driveshaft with a hammer. A few minutes later, he called me over to show me where the yoke was cracked in two. He said he would send it out to have it repaired at no charge to me.
The next day, I went to pick it up and the bill jumped to $115 for a new yoke plus labor and balancing. When I complained about the bill, Howard Tabor became verbally combative and threatened to call the police. I refused to pay and they kept my driveshaft. Don't waste your time with Roving Auto!
