Predatory Lender/Rip off

I bought a car from this company in 1999 about. The car at that time was worth about 3,000 bucks. I bought it for about 8,000 buck. With the caveat that it would help rebuild my credit and the company would let me trade the car in in a years time with timely payments. I made all payments on time as they were deducted directly from my bank account bi-weekly.

After a years time my car began to give me problems It was still under warranty I drove it to a Charlie Faulk location for repairs, the work was not done correctly my car had to be towed from Woodbridge to Norfolk to another dealer for repairs. The repairs were finally completed and my car was returned to me.

I have letters I wrote to CF regarding my treatment at the facility which was not pleasent. I later tried to trade the car into Charlie Faulk they would not honor their agreement. I tried to trade my car in else where but was unable to do it because CF had not reported any of my timely payment to the credit bureau. Another way they did not honor our agreement.

The car broke down transmission issues a few monts later. CF repo'd the car did not send me notification. Did not send me information regarding retrieving my possessions from the car. I never recieved a summons to go to court. However, they have a judgement against me. I am seriously trying to file a class action law suit against this company. If you know of anyone else that has had problems with them please refer them to this site. I am aware the company has filed bankruptcy. My attorney is also looking into the fact that they may have included my account in thier bankruptcy.

This company needs to be stopped!!! It prays on the weak. Badgers patrons for not paying on time when they couldn't even handle thier own business hence the bankruptcy. If you had the same verbal contract with CF please let me know. Thanks
