Ripping people off with ultra low trade-in numbers

I was at this dealership, they had a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 new as a leftover. I wanted this truck. Before I left my house I looked up my trade-in value and I was listed at about $19,500.

Well this dealership only wanted to give me 13,000. And wanted to sell me this leftover truck at $30,000. This new truck was a slt trim level and two wheel drive. This is highway robbery! I was being told that my deal was a great one! What a way to treat a active duty military member.

This dealership would have made around about $20,000 after they re-sold my truck for $20,000-$22,000. Then plus the intrest on a 2008 leftover. When the truck they were selling was worth around $22,000.

I really wanted a Dodge but I am not going to be robbed. There really isn't much difference between this deal and getting your wallet stolen in a dark alley somewhere..
