I purchased a 2007 Yukon from Hallum Motors May 13 and it was delivered May 14. I thought i was buying my dream vehicle. When the vehicle i went to inspect it and thought it had been wrecked in the front. The Yukon was completely covered in wax or buffing compund from the front to the back and inside the door jams. The car was completely empty, oil needed changed, tires were worn out, steering wheel was not level, front end out of alignment, and it is rusted everywhere underneath. I mean everywhere, inside of wheels and all. I have spent over $1,000 already. I have no idea how much it will cost to get this frame painted because im sure that something has to be done to keep it from rusting again and i know you cant paint over rust. My biggest problem is no one will respond to my concerns. I am very dissapointed with this dealership. When i found the car they were of course very helpful and would return my calls up until i received the vehicle. Im sure after they got their money they were no longer concerned. I wanted them to compensate me for some of these expenses or take the car back. I am having it thouroughly inspected underneath and hope that it is only bad surface rust. I have never bought a car from a dealership that needed repaired especially not paying $25,000. I dug cheerios out of the back seats and seatbelts for 30 minutes. I just assumed that this was a reputable dealership and would be professional about this situation. Please i feel spending that kind of money that i should have got a clean car that didn't have to be worked on. What about my rusty frame. If anyone has any suggestions please email me. Any help would be great at this point.
